ABOUT ME
Empathetic. Experienced. Expressive.

Philosophy of Counseling:
I am a passionate believer in each person's ability to heal and grow. I advocate for the whole person; mind, body, and spirit, and am honored to walk with each person in their struggle, sorrows, joy, excitement, anger, grief, relief, and other experiences. Problems and issues are many times symptoms of the hurt that a person has faced, and I would love the opportunity to work side by side to help address those wounds. I accomplish this by using an eclectic mix of Person-Centered Counseling, Gestalt therapy techniques, activity therapy, LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, sand tray therapy, expressive arts, pet therapy, and mindfulness. Penny is my therapy dog I work with, and she is an important part of helping. You may decide you don't want to have her as a part of sessions and she will be happy to be created in her bed during your sessions.
